Chullpas of Sillustani

Is located for 30 km at the north of Puno. Are of the biggest necropolis of the world. Rounded by an impressing view, which are shown on the Umayo lagoon. It has the big “Chullpas” (like stone towers) builded by the collas and the incas to grave its died people.
There are almost 90 and they spreaded in an area of 150 hs. Many of them’ have 12 metres of heigh and are wider on the top area than the base.
This make them being the only ones in the continent.
You can find strange mausoleums that were builded in the S.X. some of the most important arquitectonic preces are the sun temple or Coricancha in Cusco and the Ollantaytambo Port on the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
